I hear that resveratrol comes from a grape’s skins so why not just eat more grapes instead of taking suppliments?

While a portion of our diet naturally contains resveratrol, there’s simply not enough in our daily intake.

To further explain: In 250 glasses of red wine there are approx. 100mg of resveratrol. The french paradox has to do with the decrease in heart disease amongst the French people. Wine is served at an early age with dinner which allows that population to build up it’s resveratrol intake over a lifetime while most other cultures have a much lower consumption of red wine; therefore benefiting from resveratrol suppliments.
